What a welcome stop this authentic Mountain Cabane was after a fairly demanding walk. We drank the local beer and I had Soup of the Day which was a hearty vegetable soup served with local cheese and homemade bread. Oh, and the views towards th Weisshorn and the Zinal Glacier are spectacular. Great friendly service with a smile. Would return for sure. read more.

"The restaurant has views of the Matterhorn from the window and a small terrace outside. The decor is typically Swiss. In the evenings there is a set 5 course dinner, and everything was absolutely wonderful, even the bread and butter! We were served an Alipine herb soup which was quite wonderful, followed by fish with lentils and spinach which were exceptional for texture and flavor, followed by entrecôte of beef with sous vide potatoes and grilled vegetables, and an absolutely exceptional crepe with local apricots, crispy caramelized pumpkins seeds and pumpkin seed ice-cream for dessert. The service was friendly and excellent. Cost was 62CHF per person which seemed very reasonable given the location and the truly outstanding meal."
