"Edit: Had takeaway from here the other night and found the food, particularly the papaya salad, wasn't as good or spicey as it used to be.. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but sure hope they've not had a change in recipes (in response to the living crisis perhaps? or chef, as it'd be pretty disappointing if so... Hope they see this... What a pleasant experience we all had last night! Lovely food, lovely presentation, and friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. Absolute hidden gem this place is, and we all look forward to coming back. : PS: some of the food is so damn spicey. Please do not change anything hehe! Was fun seeing my scottish friends dying from all that chilli :D hehehe"

"I love this place! I lived a bit in dundee and would hear regularly. one of the best fish chip experiences in Britain of my opinion. the only part is that is so popular. be ready for at least 30 minutes on a beautiful day. it is sunny or not raining for a take and eat outside on a bank near the sea. also the indoor experience is great, but the wait is longer. it opens early at the weekend, so when they arrive an early boat ride they come here to read the time and breakfast on hand"
