"Had a smoothie which was good and satisfying during mid-day heat. The place has a nice rustic retro decor. I thought the music was a bit too loud. A few people were working on laptops in the front room. I was in the back room on my own."

"Loved this cafe! Lots of seating options and such great breakfast options. Our favourites was the standard breakfast, potato’s, pate and the condessa hot chocolate is a must try! So rich and creamy and lux!"

"The BEST food experience we had in Antigua over 3 weeks there. The service was fun friendly, the food was super yum (caprese stack was super refreshing, tenderloin steak was juicy (and huge) and the curry was perfect), and the atmosphere was lively. "The atmosphere in the dining room was amazing which was topped off by the food. I had a simple pasta dish and it was delicious. I love when a restaurant can create a simple dish that is outstanding in all aspects, from taste, portion size, to plating."

"Celebrated a birthday and had a full experience! El refectorio is located inside of hotel casa Santa Domingo which used to be a convent. There’s historical features along with many beautiful sites on location. The service was remarkable, the food was delicious, and the mariachi band was exceptional! Strongly recommend!"

"The drinks here are really bad. We came 2 separate days and tried different things (juices, coffee, etc) and everything was horrible. The food is okay, not great. The salads are 90% lettuce and 10% other ingredients. The servers are also quite rude and unaccommodating. The terrace is a nice vibe so if you’re interested mostly in the ambiance, this could be good for you, otherwise, there are much better healthy options in town."

"The crepe is too sweet for my taste. The garden like setting is nice. There is no fresh juice except one kind that I forgot the name, and again the juice is mixed with sugar, no option to have it without."
