As quite a few restaurants close for the week we ended up having lunch and dinner here. The lunch special was fantastic and well priced. We had dinner off the menu, also very good. The trout was exceptional. Very good cocktails and sangria. Lovely friendly service too. View all feedback.
What Carlee Hand doesn't like about LA COMEDIA:
We came to lunch and really the best I can say is that it was a very average experience. I wanted to come to dinner last night and I'm grateful that we didn't. The service was slow, especially since the restaurant had only two customers and I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad, which was probably a mistake, but it came Salat soggy, a mountain of lumpy wet grated cheese and the chicken was salted over, it also forgot the... Tasty food, artistic environment, good music and great location: in front of historical places like Santa Barbara Church and the Museum of Religious Art. Also a good spot during the famous Film Festival of SFA on December each year.
I went there with my family to grab a bite to eat. We had a big jug of really wonderful white sangria. We had some crepes with lomito and chicken. And also the filet mignon. All was okay. The house salade was dissapointing though: it had (somewhat dry) shrimp in it! Just something you don't expect (especially if you can't read all the Spanish words on the menu). But the place makes up for it big time! it's really nice, lots of things/art to look at. We were there on a Monday night, the place was deserted but that didn't matter one bit. Soft music, the sounds from streetlife outside and the nice atmosphere was enough. Friendly service. They even sell jewellery and such from local artists. Bought me a pair of silver earrings on the go!

The service was slow, especially since the restaurant had only two customers and I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad, which was probably a mistake, but it came Salat soggy, a mountain of lumpy wet grated cheese and the chicken was salted over, it also forgot the crumbs. The typical Colombian plate (menu del día), which we also ordered, was very common, but the sopa de frijoles was good (hard to go wrong). Prices high for what was served, but all the things that were considered were generally disappointed with food quality. Maybe this place is good for music and bar, just appetizers.
Come here to have the last drinks of your day with live music. Excellent service and food. Saturday evening is live music with different artist years.
Bad experience ever! We went to lunch (group of 6 people) and waited for an hour for the starter. The restaurant was not busy at all!!! A waiter tries to manage the situation and does what he could, but it was a disaster. Prices a little expensive. Not recommended
