We decided to try the Christmas Lunch Express menu and were pleasantly surprised. For £10.95, we received a hearty mug of vegetable soup with a side baguette (not sourdough as advertised), a plate of fries, turkey, ham, stuffing, gravy, and tea or coffee. Quite cold in the restaurant. Unfortunately the fire wasnt lit which previously was a big attraction in this country house restaurant. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff very pleasant. Food was ok. Disappointing that there wasnt a set price for the xmas menu unless for groups of over 10 people. View all feedback.
