What User doesn't like about Ringo-bako:
I came there to listen to shamisen because they have live shamisen performances. When I said that is why I came and asked if it was over already, the waiter just nodded. I speak Japanese so he could have replied more. I then asked if the performance would take place tomorrow too at the same time? (7pm). He just nodded again. With this poor service, I didn't feel welcome at all. Especially since there are other places... View all feedback.
100% recommended. There is an English menu, and the food is great. If you go during the specified times, you can enjoy a wonderful shamisen performance.

Great restaurant, great atmosphere and good food. There are 2 live-shamisen performances per day. This was my first time to Aomori, and I will definitely visit Ringobako on my next trip.
Great experience! A really great place to bring people visiting Aomori. This is a very cozy izakaya with great food and live traditional music. I recommend the tuna bowl. Huge pieces of fish and very fresh. They also have great beer and you can request a half and half and mix the beers on tap.
