Bright open restaurant with friendly staff and a huge menu. What I loved most is that there is a second menu that has pictures of the entire menu. This is a game changer. The General Tso's Chicken was lightly spicy, amazing taste and was more than I could eat in a session. A very good experience here from the institution, the food and the staff. View all feedback.
What Ty Winsh doesn't like about Sushi Iwa:
This place litterally charges you a 7 dollar fee for them to punch your order into their POS. If you order online it's cheaper , something shady and off about this place. Service: Take out Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.

Friendly and efficient employees. “Fantastic eel”, “American Dream” and “sweet dreams” are my personal favorite sushi roles. Fresh and satisfying. Your BOGO (buy one get one free) is a perfect offer for sushi rolls to habachi is a must try! All parts are SO LARGE! You also have excellent take-out service!!! Best Sushi Restaurant in town! Very recommended.
My expectations were very low in the online order of Sushi iwa, as the price was so low and the nitrites and roles were purchased. I have to say I was blown away! The quality is not a teir sushi, but for like $38 I have 12 (generous) peices from nigiri, 10 (very generously cut) sashimi, 2 reels and a spicy tuna hand roll, as well as miso soup. The quality was so much better than I had foreseen and it's safe to say that I found the perfect place for when my late night meets sushi desire. And that was just a call order. Totally worth it! If you are looking for sushi and do not try to break the bank and like a good, quick service, then you need to give this place a try.
Love Sushi Iwa and miss living in Apex where it was a reason for our rotation. Always have great service, the BOGO Sushi is brilliant and appreciate online order for easy takeout. I wish they would expand to Fuquay where we live now!
I had eat already eaten half my dishes before I remembered to snap a pic. The food is a bit pricey, but considering they have a buy 1 get 1 special, it wasn't too expensive. I have been known as a sushi pig in the past, but I was able to eat well. The portions were reasonably sized and very delicious. The wasabi (we don't really get 100% wasabi in the US due to logistics) had extra horseradish in it, making it quite potent. The calamari appetizer was very delicious and tender even after I let cool a few minutes before started eating, and the last bite was the same as the first. I ordered an eel roll and a yellowtail roll. Both were delicious and fresh. Only problem I had was a personal taste preference. The low sodium soy sauce seemed to clash with my yellowtail roll. The soy sauce wasn't too blame as it tasted fine with my eel roll and the yellowtail roll was fine without the soy sauce. If I visited Raleigh for business again, I will definitely make a trip to dine here again!
