My wife an I bought a pie and sausage roll at the Appin Bakery, Sunday Lunch 16th May. They were the worst we have ever had. The centre of the pie could have been sucked through a straw, very sloppy and no real meat. The sausage roll was very bland and tasted more like turkey stuffing, no sign or taste of any real sausage meat. This we cannot understand as sausage meat is cheap enough. I always stop in the morning when I drive near or through appin. delicious cake and very friendly staff!
Good coffee and very good range of cakes pastry. No indoor seating and paper cups, only.
If you want a decent pie folks with lots of filling try here ..They have every combination available I tried steak with mushroom and it was the bomb!Nice friendly service too makes a difference
