The food here is fantastic! I highly recommend giving this place a try. However, I've been puzzled because every time we drive by, no matter the time of day, it seems like they're closed or there are no cars outside. What A doesn't like about Basil Cafe:
The beef from the mansa was incredibly cheap not even the curry that comes with it could override the flavour however, the nuggets are so very delicious so that saved it from a 2/5 stars to a 3/5 stars. The purple drink I had (I can't remember the name) really didn't taste like anything but lime juice so that was a 2/10, being generous. I have eaten here several times at lunch and was never disappointed with the food or the service. They are very good at explaining the menu which contains a wide variety of dishes.
One of the best in the area. Food is delicious and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful the service is top notch! I highly recommend Basil Cafe! One of my favorites!
I was finally able to make it there, and I am very glad I did. The server was very good, explained the items on the Manu I had questions about, she knew the menu well. I had the crab Rangoon and the Veitnamese crepe, both were all that I expected and more. The crepe was crispy and the fillings were flavorful, it was severed with lettuce and herbs to make into wraps. I can't wait to try some other item I saw around the dining room, lots of good looking food, and plenty of people that seemed very pleased with their food. I would and did recommend this place.
I love it. It's literally the best Thai in the valley...probably also the best food in the valley. Also, if you have dietary restrictions, this is your place. They easily accommodate gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. (Peanut allergies should call ahead if considering, bc this is a Thai place.
