"I was in a party of 47 who visited this restaurant for a previously booked lunch on a Saturday. The organiser had found it on Tripadvisor. We had a welcome drink, three course lunch, coffee and wine, and the food was truly excellent. The starter, a fresh and lively salad with hot gesiers was superb; the roast chicken and frites very good, and the dessert of nougat icecream was served with care enhanced with coloured crystals, and other bits and pieces as well as cream, and the icecream was of excellent quality. What was amazing was that chef was preparing 47 meals! The meal didn't in any way feel mass produced and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful."

"This restaurant is far the best in the wide area. Friendly service and an extensive card with surprising dishes, well-presented. The ris deuce are a tragedy, but the cable's pretty good. At the aperitif is a shared planche the ideal inducer. Good coctails, by the way."

"A good quiet campsite on a swimming lake. Unfortunately we were there in the rain so didn't manage a swim. There is a communal room which was very welcome for escaping the rain as we were in a tent. The sanitary facilities are good and were kept very clean. You can order fantastic bread and croissants each day which come from the bakery in the village which also has a small, well stocked Proxi. There is also a friterie on site. A couple of picnic benches on the campground would have made it perfect for us."

"The hotel iand restaurant s located in a small village in a remote wooded area of France, despite being only about 45 minutes from Reims, the world capital of champagne. The hotel is ideally placed for those travellers who want to visit the nearby World War I sites. However, to find the it you will need a good GPS. The reception was friendly and efficient. The staff tried very hard to acomodate my wishes and needs. It was a welcome change from the surly reception one can get in small hotels in France. The room was spacious. The furnishings were functional, but had no particular charm. The bathroom was not very large, but was confortable. The view, overlooking the forest was very nice. The hotel has a very large terrace at the back, facing the forest. It also has a swimming pool. The wifi was free, but the quality of the connection was poor. The breakfast was below average for the same type of hotel in France. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, principally for lunch."
