Wonderful to discover this cafe in the Alexandra Gardens. Relax under the shady trees to enjoy your coffee etc then stroll around these lovely gardens near the main highway through town. Highly recommend breaking your journey here. Big playground for the kids too. Toilets at the cafe site. View all feedback.

the location is directly on the lake, with nature close to it. They can sit inside or outside when the weather is on it. the staff are enthusiastic and friendly. the coffee was just normal. we also had a vegie role. the vegies had dried out and the roll fell apart, but the tomato chutney was very good. there are toilets in the building. we were told by others that they were the cleanest in the city. there was no soap...
