We ordered a two tiered rosette cake which was exactly what we got. Beautifully decorated but the cake was very dry and the icing way to sweet. I have purchased many from this bakery over the years but a little disappointed this time. $150 was a shocker also, a heads up would have been nice since the last one was $60 and we just added a small top layer. I could eat cake for three meals a day. Coconut cake? Just add fourth meal! Unfortunately, the coconut cake was nothing special. The cake was moist but just not exceptional. What makes a cake for me is the icing. The ample amount of icing was just greasy I wouldn't even want to lick the beaters. This place is the best! we love their hotdogs and roast bologna sandwiches! they have more than side, they are star-shaped and always crispy! this place is also very cheap!
I have heard good things about this bakery and decided to try it out. I mean, I have a slice of carrot cake. he said it was the best he ever had! I have some chocolate chip cookies. they were also wonderful! we're coming back.
I love this bakery! I contacted her to bake a strawberry crunch cake for my mother's birthday and it was so delicious! In addition, their customer service is excellent, and I was greeted with a smile and waited as soon as I came in. Certainly check out this bakery, you will not be disappointed!
I saw an ad for the bakery in the bowling alley and decided to give it a shot. that's the best bakery I've ever done. we've been on the road for 2 months once a week and never disappointed. the prices are also reasonable.
Listen I drove all the way from Charlotte just to try Archdale Bakery coconut cake and it was well worth the drive. Friendly service. Excellent cake slices. Try the strawberry cake 10/10.
