"We ordered the cheese plate for a starter, not knowing that they would bring for a brave one. I wish the waiter had advised us something else. I had the cod I had nothing to write about. husband had pasta he enjoyed. they put broth in a basket and asked what we wanted, and accused us. I thought that was weird. they also accused us for 2 bottles of wine instead of 1, fortunately my man noticed it in the bill."

"We had a late lunch at this restaurant and we enjoyed it a lot. The place is very beautiful and has a pretty unique decoration. We were not lucky and the kitchen was closed so we couldn’t choose from the menu and had to go with a couple tapas that they had available, very good, btw. It is right in the middle of the old city so it has a great location."

"We chose to stay here rather than the parador in Cadiz( price consideration) and found it to be an excellent decision despite the lack of parking outside. The long haul up from the public parking suggested in 36degrees with suitcases was challenging and on reflection the local bus or a taxi would have been the more sensible option. The views from our superior bonus corner room were fantastic. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable ; staff were friendly and helpful. We chose not to eat there as our recent experiences have been disappointing in paradors this year. There are many restaurants nearby for excellent evening meals and breakfast (used by locals too ,so a good sign. We used the local bus to go to Jerez for a sherry tour and drove to Cadiz to see the spectacular architecture. So a good base for our visit to the area."
