"We have booked this beautiful boutique hotel for a few days to get away from it all and it is not disappointed. the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is attentive and friendly. when we visited a previous one, we tried to try the dinner menu at the time, as it was quite brilliant and we were not disappointed! the standard is of a very high quality and, although not cheap, it is worth every penny. we would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to be chilled and treated with great food, drinks and service."

"Here you have asked if they have gluten-free offers and found many of their appetizers are gluten-free, they have a separate frit for the chips, and they were ready to propose changes to one or two items to make it gluten-free. I ordered the Schellfisch as an oven baked duck with baby potatoes and vegetables. It was fresh and delicious. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about my concerns and spoke to the kitchen to ensure that there was no miscommunication. Nice place, and I would recommend!"

"The meal in the Restaurant was very disappointing and would not have warranted the high class statues it falls into. I had languastines, they were served cold , never had them ever served like that with a small salad, dressing was awful. I then ordered their smoked haddock fishcakes, again uneatable, overdosed in salt, my husband had mussels, they were alright but when it came to his main course of venison pie, he had to abandon it as the venison was like pulled pork, very dry and chewy, couldn't believe the standard of the food! We were put in a dining room which had 3 tables, not the main dining room, this room had no heating on, very very disappointing especially as it was our 48th Wedding Anniversary! Shall not be back nor will we recommend it to anyone."

"Had lunch here during Jacobite train trip to Mallaig. Quick and friendly service and great tasting food. Best club sandwich I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend for a visit"
