We ate at the outside tables on a hot humid day and like many others on the day we were looked after well by a tireless waitress. You could easily get by for lunch on the 9 euro Plat du Jour, but we enjoyed the full 3 course menu. Everything was keenly priced (house wine and coffee as well). "I recently dined at this restaurant with my wife during a May long weekend. Our first impression was of the sunny and friendly disposition of the servers which we found out were a husband and wife team. We both ordered a superb “Tête de Veau” (Calf’s head) which is a traditional local dish in Corrèze….apparently Jacques Chirac loved the stuff! The complete meal with accompanying wine was excellent value for money. Squeaky clean and modern washrooms and a little pug named Lino who guarded the fort! Will definitely return on a future trip to Argentat."
