"A nicely decorated place sorely let down by the very bad service. We had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes from the moment we sat down until someone came to take our order (and we had to draw their attention too). The Aroma salad came within 10 to 15 minutes, it was nice but not quite as described in the menu (it was 99% spinach with only about 2 rocket leaves). The wine was good. However, our mains never arrived. When we sat down, half the restaurant was empty. About 40 minutes after we had our salad, still no mains, and people around us who had arrived after us were eating their mains. After we had to draw the waiters' attention yet again (nobody was looking around as is good waiter practice), I asked him how long for the mains and he was very dismissive saying they're coming and that everyone came and ordered at the same time, which we found to be a poor way to deal with it. If the chef had forgotten the order, fine, just say so, admit it, apologise and let us know how long it will be, but don't be dismissive as if there is no fault in your service. After such a repeatedly slow service, we decided to leave, leaving more than enough cash on the table for what we had actually been served and eaten. Perhaps we were the exception, but this was a bad experience and we will not be visiting again. Please review your service practices so other customers are not treated the same way. EDIT to respond to owner reply: I am sorry but I have been in many full restaurants and the service has never ever taken so long. We left 40 minutes after we had finished our salad, not 40 minutes after we had ordered our mains. It was well over an hour after we had ordered. How exactly does it take so long just for our food to be cooked? Come on. Also, when we arrived you were nowhere near full why did your staff take 15 minutes to come and take our order? Again, never seen this sort of delay before. If you cannot reliably run the restaurant with so many covers, you should consider reducing the number of covers. But I don't think that's the case it's just that we were forgotten or put to the back of the queue, and there was no acknowledgement or apology. That would have sufficed."

"This restaurant is a fantastic place. The staff knew gluten-free, really knew, not only that they knew what our experience was in other restaurants in Greece. There were many gluten-free options, but nothing specifically gluten-free, such as gluten-free pasta or bread. The servers were very helpful to check with the kitchen if our choices could be made gluten-free or not. The food was wonderful and they even gave us free dessert, consisting of apples with regional honey, or a Greek dessert for those who can eat gluten. The facility is very popular in Nafplio, so a reservation may be necessary if you are unhappy. A total of 8/10 for good food, but nothing dedicated to gluten-free."
