"Be prepared to be wowed Driven past this place many times and never thought about calling in. How stupid I was. Not what I expected at all. We’d been for dinner in Oban the previous night and was told we were in for a treat. This is a Steak place and they know how to cook it to perfection Great ambience great surroundings great food. "Lovely cafe in a convenient location. The outdoor seating is very well sheltered and it's fun watching the cyclist, walkers and day tripping families come and go. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was good. I could have sat there for hours drinking my tea and working through the scone menu (treacle scone tasted great but very crumbly, should have gone for raspberry). Lots of fun little personal touches in the signs and objects dotted around, and a small but varied range of books. It's also convenient for a quick stroll down to the beach."

"I had a full breakfast here. nice eating and really friendly people. if they are looking for somewhere to eat near the ferry terminal, I recommend very food from argyll at the pier. I will definitely visit again."

"We had a good experience at this restaurant. The food was mostly excellent (my oysters didn't compare favorably to others I've had in the US). The fish and chips were really nicely done, crisp without being overly breaded. My companion's salmon was beautifully cooked; most and tender. And the sticky toffee pudding, my goodness it was wonderful. It loses a star for the somewhat indifferent service (it could be I'm just an anxious American) and for the oysters."

"In the restaurant divorced, was said that we cannot access the seats on the upper floor. very small space in the ground floor, so would not say that it is accessible at all for families, wheelchairs or children's cars. eating was cooked to a high standard, tasty but very expensive compared to other places with budget options. the waitress who served us, took up our tellers to clean the table without asking us if we were done. she gave the impression, she didn't like her job. the service was average, the atmosphere was somewhat unpleasant, no feeling of hospitality or engagement with customers."
