Earth here regularly when on Islay. Excellent food and good service. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere....3 areas to eat in ...bar, lounge and formal dining room. Macaroni cheese and fish and chips extremely good read more.

Our table was in the bar area which is a bit noisy the carpets restaurant area looked nicer. Friendly service but the food is moderate rather than good. My mac and cheese was tasty but a lovely sounding dessert (elderflower millefeuille) was let down by odd tasting lumpy creme patissiere. My companion had fish and chips. Batter was good but the fish was a bit over cooked and the chips were dry. read more.
