"Probably not a great time of day we visited at 3pm on a Weds. Bar staff was on a word fast. Completely monosyllabic....are you serving food yes , do you have a menu yes . Then turned out the pub is not dog friendly although listed as such (and we were directed there by a cafe who were not dog friendly). Made our apologies and sat outside. Asked for a water bowl for the dog. Then had to ask for water!!! Hard work but the Irn Bru was excellent! Nice interior and clean toilets and I am sure it is much better in the evening. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"This is a well frequented Chinese restaurant but the food is hit and miss . There is a particular nasty generic brown sauce that seems to pervade in most dishes . There are good dishes but the decor needs addressing they could do so much...better and offer better Chinese food they need to modernise and not take the customer for granted. They are up against some really good food choices in Campbeltown Chinese food is a favourite of most British people so give us the best of it not what you imagine we like."

"We are interested in having an Indian and had already tried the other one in town so gave this one a go. Food was nice, naan was lovely. "I had one of the most amazing seafood meals ever and super value for money. To start langoustines then crab claws (lots), a bottle of Prosecco. Hubby chicken goujons then scallops plus salad chips and bread. Lovely ambiance, all the locals drinking, eating and chatting , really nice server . Definitely the place to eat in Port Charlotte."
