"I have been stopping at this location for over a decade traveling between TN and TX. It's clean and friendly. Staffed generally by local college kids. Two weeks ago, the food was barely lukewarm, and seemed not fresh. This is not always the case,but I think next time I'll be ordering breakfast or something that cannot sit all day. "Slim Shorty’s is hands down the best restaurant in town! Not just that but, the best drinks, friendliest servers, and great atmosphere for my two girls! Kayla and Al are the best! My girls want to come in there only if one of the two is our waitress! We love them and don’t really eat out anywhere but there! You can see how hard they work to try and make everyone happy! Ask for Kayla or Al! Most of the time they’re on different shifts!"

"I got there about an hour before they closed and there was a big line. I sat in line for over 30 minutes. Once I got to the pickup window they said were out of legs and it would be another 25 minutes if I wanted to wait. I told them I would take whatever they had. Then they came back and said they only had 4 biscuits that I could get 2 rolls or was 15 minutes for biscuits. Again I said I would take whatever they had. Then I got home and didn't have a side even though I ordered the meal with 1 side. The chicken coating was very very greasy and tasted like it was cooked it old oil. I realize everyone is trying to go home but the customer shouldn't suffer for that!"
