"Good old Greg did not disappoint. I tried all top Frozen Custard shops in MI, IL, WI and MO. Now, good news is Greg is selling real frozen custard. Many shops sell soft serve or frozen yogurt under the name of frozen custard. There are three tests to agood frozen custard. Test 1. The machinery. If you are getting your custard from a device like a beverage fountain where theyhold the cup underneath and fill. You are not getting frozen custard my friends! Test 2. The spoon. If the frozen custard isserved with filmsy a soft spoon that easily bends, that is not a custard you are spooning. Test 3. The texture! The mostimportant test. Now spoon your custard and look into your cup, if the spot you just scooped has sandy looks then that is a lowquality custard. If that scooped area is silky smooth and flat as the surface of a quartz countertop then this is good news!these guys are using some egg yolks in their recipee to make real frozen custard. Greg's custard passed all three tests. It isdefinitely not as good as Kopp's Frozen Custard in WI but so far the best in IL that I found. Good job Greg."

"My friend recommended this place and it was a very pleasant surprise! Right now it’s Halloween time and their decor is beautiful! You feel so cozy and in a spirit! Latte was beautiful and delicious. Apricot danish was pretty good; a little try, but not very sweet which is great! Blueberry muffin is delicious. Many places to sit and open pretty late on the weekend. Did have to go tell someone to send us a waiter. A little pricey. Parking might be a little tough to find since the area is pretty busy. (Arlington Heights downtown) They have a lot of cool alcoholic beverages and some light foods. "This place is great went for the first time today, they are very willing to make changes to make anything they are able to. We had a chicken Parmesan wrap that was not on the menu. There was one slight issue when it arrived and both the server and owner were quick to apologize and make it right."

"I'm editing my review because the baristas at 1808 make better drinks than the other starbucks in the area (much, much better than 1414 golf or Busse Greenleaf). The only problem is the drive thru is really slow, but I honestly think it's cause more people like to hang out inside this Starbucks, and the others aren't really like that. I recommend getting your drinks here, and going inside to pick them up."
