"Visited the General Store after walking the Railway Trail for a coffee. It was busy for a Public Holiday Monday, staff seemed unorganised and I was charged $6.60 for the worlds worst coffee. Such a shame, as this place has so much potential. They also...had women’s second hand bra’s for sale for a $1 in the shop front weird. Unfortunately, this was my first and last visit."

"Next level fish and chips! The effort put into the food is apparent. Most importantly, chips were spot on extra crispy, just how my family loves them. Good quality fish, nice batter. Shrimp Poboi was almost perfect just not enough sauce IMHO. Great job guys, keep it up. You 're our new go to when we 're craving good F&C. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"Fantastic Pizza, really bad kids pasta. We were at the Vic Park cafe. It was clean and the toilets were clean.The we had a booth, these are really comfortable and spacious, was clean. The seats we found were little low. We have has pizzas from here before and again they lived up to the expectations. I asked for fresh cut chillies etc perfectly done, the pizzas were beautifully done. We had 3 kids that wanted pasta as it was on the menu. The pasta was very bad as in it lacked taste or any kind of effort. It is not hard to cook a simple creamy pasta so if they are going to keep this on the menu really should improve on the item $30 down the drain really. Again, it's not a pasta place so you can be forgiven but take it off the menu so it will not let the pizzas down. As the pizzas here are fantastic."

"Valentine 's Day was made extra special at The Cavern with an amazing set menu of dishes (not normally on the a la carte menu .<br/ <br/ The duck liver parfait was at its best! The salmon and leek tart was to die for the short crust was light and crisp, and the filling was creamy and moreish!<br/ <br/ Next out was one of the best pork buns I have ever tried great fusion of flavours with an Asian twist.<br/ <br/ My wife loved the gnocchi with a generous serving of the seafood sauce. The kitchen was more than accomodating allowing me to have my gnocchi with the a la carte lamb ragu (seafood and I don 't agree .<br/ <br/ To finish the meal we had the most amazing chocolate mousse perfectly complimented with the praline crunch and fresh fig ... yum!<br/ <br/ We were so full by the end great value for $60 per head.<br/ <br/ The 'Father in law ' Shiraz was a perfect compliment with the meal great recommendation by the wait staff, who were attentive and friendly!<br/ <br/ Can 't wait to go back!"
