"A nice warm cafe to visit. Ok service, and it is clean. The meat pie here is damn good. Meat was smooth with a good crunch from the pasty. I think this is one of the best pies I’ve ever had. I’ve had a lot of pies. Also there may be 3 Kea’s waiting to steal your food. Beware, they will jump on your arm and eat your chips if you’re outside. Very entertaining. But don’t let them stay on your car for too long, they will rip it up."

"Bikepacking through from chch. Wanted to get a vegan pizza from bealy hotel but closed tues wed. Happy to see a vegan pie and oat milk coffee. Better than my dehydrated camp food."
