Last time I went to Monsoon was about 3 years ago before I moved away and I never found anywhere that could match up to them. I had a curry for the first time in all those years last night as I am back and it was like heaven on a plate. Now I’m back, I’ll be eating curry more regularly than I did before. The food tasted good, but heat wise not spice wise, the food wasn’t particularly hot upon arrival. The delivery driver annoyed me too. If you ring the bell please wait more than 5 seconds before your banging the door, a bit of politeness and good customer service goes a long way. would order again though, the food tasted nice. I had not been here for a while but my friends and myself used to eat there regularly. Circumstances changed. We are known to most of the staff. Welcomed om arriving. My meal was probably one of the best I have had. Prawn Puree starter and Shashlik Laziz. All the party commented on how good their dishes were. It was also surprisingly busy for a Monday evening.
I have ordered from Monsoon several times, but this time the mild dish I ordered was so spicy that it was impossible to eat. I will not be ordering from here again.

The dansak didn’t have any flavour and the chicken was chewy and didn’t taste nice. The korma chicken was nice but again not much flavour. I normally order from Monsoon and always have a lovely curry. I think it just depends on what day you order as to what chef is on.
Perfect curry. Madras was delicious and so was dupiaza. Will order again
