What Thesnarler likes about Royal Oak:
The food in the oak is well cooked and plentiful. The landlady and chef are friendly and welcoming. The beer and food prices are also reasonable for the area. The pub is dog friendly. The pub garden is what I would call wild, and backs onto wheat fields. The garden could do with some new furniture, but would be ruined if allowed to be altered from its present wild looks.
