The staff were warm and friendly however, I cannot say anything positive about the coffee and food.
There are sweeping generalisations I can make about Tassels.
In addition to being one of the more well-presented cafes on Racecourse Rd, Tassels also has some of the best food and breakfast options on the strip.

"Thai Flavour is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. I visit on a regular occasion whether it is dine in or take away. If you are out of the area it is sure worth the drive.<br/>The food is mouth watering and tasty. I have tried most things on the menu and not once I have been disappointed. Some personal favourites are Beef Hokkien Noodle, Garlic Pepper Beef Stir-fry with coconut rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, Golden Parcels and Curry Puffs!"

"After a few years of this, we thought it would be nice to see again. The food is just as good and the red duck curry was sensational. It seems staff is a bit a problem, as service was slow but... I think this is common today in Australian hospitality. The whole experience was above average, but the food was exceptional."
