"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. <br>

The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. <br>

My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. <br>

Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. <br/>I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening.<br/>I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. <br/>Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming.<br/>If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. <br/>Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

"The last time I reunited with Thai food was around a month ago Considering I don't have Thai food often, I thought it'd be nice to rediscover those flavours again, especially when I have a dining companion joining me : <br/ <br/ Table reserved for 2 people at 7:30pm majority of the seatings inside were full. The alfresco area seemed relaxing, with the heater on and the natural breeze it was the perfect environment. <br/ <br/ The menu offered a vast selection of soups, curries, rice and noodle dishes, seafood and the list just went on. We decided on the Banana Leaf Chicken, Thai Lamb and a bowl of White rice to share. <br/ <br/ Food came to the table reasonably quick The Thai Lamb was delightful, meat was soft and each piece I had was filled with flavour (salad was really fresh too . The chicken was slightly on the drier side, but to compensate that, the side sauce made it quite enjoyable (I liked the lemongrass taste it had . <br/ <br/ My dining companion and I both preferred the Thai Lamb over the Banana Leaf Chicken. Service was quick, nice experience accompanied by friendly staff : <br/ <br/ Thank you That Thai!"

"We love saabi. So affordable, fantastic service. Brilliant location- away from the hustle of other restaurants/cafes with ample parking. Wonderful decorations and fantastic atmosphere. Self service which suits this cafe style and is actually very convenient here (I usually don't like self service and I'm very happy with it here). Owners are brilliant. Food is fantastic. Such a brilliant variety of fresh foods, good cakes and fantastic coffee. My favourite is the tomato and feta on pumpkin bread. Always get it and I love it. Caters for smaller groups but also bigger groups. Fantastic relaxed atmosphere and plenty of tables inside and out back."

"The chicken pho is exactly like in Vietnam. We pay a $9 toll just to eat here on a very regular basis and it is well worth it. Affordable prices. Bowl of pho is $12. Pork spring rolls are excellent. If you have eaten authentic food with the locals in Vietnam, you will love this place. If you have never had this experience do not overlook this place and miss out. It's your opportunity to experience one of the best things about Vietnam, right here is Brisbane. It's appearance is very misleading. Looks like a converted old petrol station.My only complaint is that sometimes I wish they were open on Sundays and I wish they would open up a restaurant on the Southside. This pho smashes my local Camp Hill option in quality and price."

"Was referred by a couple when ubering home. The place is clean and relatively new. Was even presented with a newspaper because I was on my own. Menu is simple and limited. Simply the best nasi Goreng in town. A small but, the thing missing was a bit of acar and cucumber to tomato on the side. It would've gotten 5 stars otherwise. Highly recommended."
