Well, Watt used to be a decent venue but it's not anymoreIt's had a refurb and is now called the New Farmers MarketBut I won't be coming back.
Couldn't tell you anything about the meals thanks to an over zealous bearded hipster waiter rudely telling my wife and I (and baby) that we were seated in a
Watt's best feature is undeniably its stunning riverside location.

"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. <br>

The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. <br>

My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. <br>

Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. <br/>I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening.<br/>I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. <br/>Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming.<br/>If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. <br/>Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

"Quite tasty Thai food. I wonder why the prices on their menu on their website have not been updated to the current prices,which, for a small eatery in an area of Holland Park which really has no 'atmosphere ' , now aren 't cheap. Is this a ploy to get you to come in and then find out their real more expensive current price? Friendly service as well."

"We were regular visitors until we moved from the area, but after a short while, we found ourselves making the trek back! The food is always excellent (try the pancakes!! and every staff member is friendly, welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend!"

"The last time I reunited with Thai food was around a month ago Considering I don't have Thai food often, I thought it'd be nice to rediscover those flavours again, especially when I have a dining companion joining me : <br/ <br/ Table reserved for 2 people at 7:30pm majority of the seatings inside were full. The alfresco area seemed relaxing, with the heater on and the natural breeze it was the perfect environment. <br/ <br/ The menu offered a vast selection of soups, curries, rice and noodle dishes, seafood and the list just went on. We decided on the Banana Leaf Chicken, Thai Lamb and a bowl of White rice to share. <br/ <br/ Food came to the table reasonably quick The Thai Lamb was delightful, meat was soft and each piece I had was filled with flavour (salad was really fresh too . The chicken was slightly on the drier side, but to compensate that, the side sauce made it quite enjoyable (I liked the lemongrass taste it had . <br/ <br/ My dining companion and I both preferred the Thai Lamb over the Banana Leaf Chicken. Service was quick, nice experience accompanied by friendly staff : <br/ <br/ Thank you That Thai!"
