"We were a group of 12, stopped for morning tea one day and lunch the next day. Both times we were served our coffees and food almost together, which was great not to waiting on orders. Staff were very friendly and all seemed happy to stop and have a quick chat. We all gave the staff top marks, the food pleased us all and if in Ashburton again the somerset grocer would definitely be on our go to list. Dietary restrictions: One of our group is celiac and staff were very attentive to her food restrictions."

"Amber and Don have just catered our wedding in the weekend and I cannot speak highly enough! The food was perfect and EVERYONE ate and enjoyed it! Raving reviews from all our guests and the staff that also got to enjoy it! (Bar staff, photographer and DJ) We have also eaten in the restaurant and it is just beautiful!
