"Well priced food and friendly staff, the atmosphere is on point for the most part though was fairly empty while I was there. only nit-picks are that our food was delivered staggered, I had my mains for 5 mins before the other's got theirs. Would recommend to anyone wants very good food for around $25 per meal Service: Dine in"

"They can make some food vegetarian but not much options, taste fine and portion is adequate. Wish they can launch vegan menu. Good place to go when you are hungry after 2.30pm and most eateries are closed."

"We were a group of 12, stopped for morning tea one day and lunch the next day. Both times we were served our coffees and food almost together, which was great not to waiting on orders. Staff were very friendly and all seemed happy to stop and have a quick chat. We all gave the staff top marks, the food pleased us all and if in Ashburton again the somerset grocer would definitely be on our go to list. Dietary restrictions: One of our group is celiac and staff were very attentive to her food restrictions."

"While visiting a friend in Ashburton, we decided to have some yummies and knew for sure that Columbus wouldn't disappoint. Sure enough the food was delicious and the coffee, as great. While the wait staff could have been a bit more chipper, its comforting to know that least they weren't faking their niceties. Would recommend!"
