came here after 9 o'clock on Friday for a sweet tasty bite. they had vegan chocolate chip cookies and either vanilla or earthbeereis. the sandwiches are big my fiancé and I split one and I am so glad we did. the cookies are delicious. the vanilleeis was super tasty, only to be warned if they were not a coconut fan, design a big coconut aroma! What User doesn't like about Sunshine Sammies:
I love the softness of the cookie sandwich and if you don't want so much, you could get a sip of ice cream and a cookie on the side. My least favorite is that they don't have many vegan flavors especially seasonal! I would ask all the time if they got any and they said they were working on it, but never got it when I was still living there. The staff was so friendly! read more.

"They have the best breakfast/brunch!Everything we’ve had here has been delicious but personal favorites are biscuits and gravy and bourbon street waffle. Love the rooftop dining with amazing mountain views when it was open . . . hope it reopens soon! Also cocktails are very tasty! It’s always been very busy when we’ve been but the wait is definitely worth it. Must try when in Black Mountain!"

"Food and flavors were delicious -staff was kinda aloof (Hoss was friendly enough) but with a 45-minute waiting for hostess to finish her conversation? Before I could place the order even after mentioning, I had to order as we paid to the parking lot and were hungry at 45 minutes. She made it clear that she would end her conversation by being quite ignored and waiting to order, but that means she took her time with my questions on recommendations, so I think it is part of the corporate culture? and we had a wonderful experience after that when food was great. Desserts, food, teas were all top notch. I was particularly impressed that the desserts are completely free from any cane sugar in any form and instead use data and maple syrup as at home! Hubby is a vegan cook? Very recommended if you? not in a hurry and can overlook the above."
