"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"It is a couple of years since we visited this pretty pub.We met up here with friends today for a long overdue catchup. A beautiful hot sunny day and we sat in the pretty gardens in the welcome shade of the many trees. The service was polite and slick, our food an absolute delight. The food was hot and beautifully presented and delicious . We shall return again soon."

"Had a lovely meal on Sunday, drove past on the way to a local castle and decided to have lunch on the way back. Luckily we booked as it was packed when we got there (13.45). Food and drinks all came out quickly and we loved it. A little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but it was great. Parking: There are a lot of spots but it gets very busy. "I visited this place for lunch with a friend. The weather was warm and sunny so we were able to enjoy our lunch in the pretty garden. The service was friendly and helpful. We both had sandwiches and cream teas, which were delicious and very fresh (regular and gluten free). Highly recommended"
