"The flavours of the Coppers dishes are always complex and delicious, and their vegan options are never run of the mill they definitely put the effort in and you can tell they're really passionate about creating exciting and tasty vegan options. Favourites from their past set menus include lentil balls in a yoghurt sauce (dahi vada) and sweetcorn and pepper kebab (makai mirchi kebab). The a la carte menu includes plenty of vegan options, but be sure to specify vegan when ordering naan bread so they can make a dairy free version. Staff go above and beyond, at our most recent visit we were celebrating a birthday and they brought out some delicious lentil dumplings between courses and a chocolate brownie with a candle for the birthday guest (a non vegan, so I assume the brownie had dairy). Overall a really lovely restaurant with a cosy but roomy interior, lovely staff and delicious food. Updated from previous review on 2023 07 05"

"It is a couple of years since we visited this pretty pub.We met up here with friends today for a long overdue catchup. A beautiful hot sunny day and we sat in the pretty gardens in the welcome shade of the many trees. The service was polite and slick, our food an absolute delight. The food was hot and beautifully presented and delicious . We shall return again soon."

"I actually was so pleased with this meal when it came, was piping hot, smelled amazing, ate some chicken korma and the chicken tasted a bit rubbery so I stopped eating the chicken and carried on with just sauce and rice, then I wake up in absolute agony with horrendous sickness and diarrhoea"
