"Had a lovely meal on Sunday, drove past on the way to a local castle and decided to have lunch on the way back. Luckily we booked as it was packed when we got there (13.45). Food and drinks all came out quickly and we loved it. A little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but it was great. Parking: There are a lot of spots but it gets very busy. "As a couple that both work weekends ! We don’t have time to cook Sunday lunch . So each Sunday we have a takeaway from The George and I must say it never disappoints!!! With a fantastic choice on the Sunday lunch menu , we never get bored and have tried all the meat dishes , all of which have been superb. Just like a home cooked meal . Fresh veg crispy roasties , tender meat and home made Yorkshire and gravy . Definitely recommend"
