It is strange and wonderful that this is the primer meeting place of the town. They really have all the things. Comfort food, organic local produce, discount sections, vegan ice cream, hippy clothes, hygiene, cleaning products, stuff for your pets, like every kombucha flavor, hot soup.. it's great. if your lucky a wonderful person will be selling her tamales in the parking lot.
Great grocery store and more in Ashland. Friends of mine told me about Shop'n Kart in Medford a couple of years ago. We live in the Mt Shasta area and it isn't always easy to find fresh produce at our local markets. My friends (who buy coffee beans in bulk there) gave a rave review so I stopped by on a trip to Medford. I was impressed and am now a fan. Not only is their produce nice, but they have this amazing cheese department that goes on forever. I can find my favorite teas and other healthy food options which are nornally lacking or not as abundant elsewhere. I've told other friends about Shop'n Kart and we all agree this place is a gem.
