My friend asked a simple question in fluent English, and the old lady had the nerve to say “sorry I don’t speak Spanish.” She knew what she was doing. Lady, you could have had a nice tip that day. We stopped into the Imperial Club hoping they might serve food since we were starving and there was limited choices in town at 3pm on a Monday. The bartender, who turned out to be one of the owners, Jan greeted us. She told us they did not serve food, but...if we wanted to call in an order to the restaurant across the street, 511 Main, they would give us a 10% discount AND deliver to us at the bar. Sweet!
