This restaurant was charming and full of history. While their menu options were limited, I thoroughly enjoyed their tasty vegan avocado toast with a gluten-free option. I also appreciated being able to order a vegan coffee. The only drawback was the high prices, but that is to be expected in Aspen.
Charming cafe with a variety of house-made nut milk options including cashew, almonds, and pepitas. We sampled the cappuccino, latte, dirty chai latte, and matcha latte during our visit. The nut milk was rich and velvety, complementing the bold espresso flavors nicely. The only vegan option on the menu seemed to be the avocado toast priced at $18, though it was worth it for the delicious combination of thick sourdough, creamy avocado, pickled onions, and radishes with a splash of lemon. The cafe, located within Hotel Jerome, boasts a luxurious and quirky atmosphere with gold-plated ceilings, plush teal couches, pink accents, floral wallpaper, and artwork that matches the decor. The background music added to the ambiance, evoking a nostalgic Argentinean or Wes Anderson film vibe.
Adorable Coffee Shop with home made breast milk, from cashew, almonds and peasants. We tried the cappuccino, latte, dirty Chai Latte and Matcha Latte during our stay. The breast milk is creamy and smooth and balanced the espresso bitterness well. Foodwise, I'm pretty sure that the only offer that has no animal products was the avocado toast $18! Thick sourdough bread, avocado mashed, onions, radishes. With some lemon pressed up it was just the right amount of Umami and Tart, yum! The atmosphere of the café connected to the Hotel Jerome is luxurious and quirky. Gold gilded ceilings, velvet teal green couches, although unfortunately the seats can be leather, blush pink, floral wallpaper and paintings suitable for wallpaper motif. Milonga played in the background, and Felix definitely remembers the old style Argentina, or a Wes Anderson movie.
Charming coffee shop with house-made nut milk, featuring cashew, almond and hazelnut. We sampled the cappuccino, latte, dirty chai latte and matcha latte during our visit. The nut milk was velvety and balanced out the bitterness of the espresso nicely. I believe the only vegan option available was the avocado toast at $18. It consisted of thick sourdough bread, mashed avocado, poached egg, and radish, topped with a squeeze of lemon for the perfect umami and tang. The atmosphere of the café attached to Hotel Jerome is both luxurious and eclectic, with opulent accents such as teal green couches, blush pink leather chairs, floral wallpaper, and matching paintings. The background music of milonga added to the old-world charm, reminiscent of vintage Argentina or a scene straight out of a Wes Anderson movie.
