What User likes about Hong Kong:
For years I have been looking for an old restaurant in the style of the cantons of 1960. Everyone moved to Szechuan or Mandarin, which is not so important to me. "Instead of a food truck, it’s a food boat that used to be a salmon fishing boat. Great reuse of materials. They’ve been in business a long time and are on a street with free parking. Be aware as I wasn’t, that it’s cash only and the fish is tuna, not the usual cod or haddock. If one doesn’t know this, they’ll think something is off or dry about the fish but for tuna, it was actually really good though I still prefer cod or haddock as my fish for fish n chips. These are more like fried tuna chunks similar to a very large chicken nugget. The small portion is three pieces for $10. I liked the batter and the tartar sauce that came with it. The chips are steak fries which is actually the norm in the UK but in the UK, pubs and restaurants by the coast now offer fries as an option. I’m not a huge fan of thick steak fries and wish there was another option like coleslaw."
