"Instead of a food truck, it’s a food boat that used to be a salmon fishing boat. Great reuse of materials. They’ve been in business a long time and are on a street with free parking. Be aware as I wasn’t, that it’s cash only and the fish is tuna, not the usual cod or haddock. If one doesn’t know this, they’ll think something is off or dry about the fish but for tuna, it was actually really good though I still prefer cod or haddock as my fish for fish n chips. These are more like fried tuna chunks similar to a very large chicken nugget. The small portion is three pieces for $10. I liked the batter and the tartar sauce that came with it. The chips are steak fries which is actually the norm in the UK but in the UK, pubs and restaurants by the coast now offer fries as an option. I’m not a huge fan of thick steak fries and wish there was another option like coleslaw."

"A great place to find Italian treats such as Gelato, Sorbet, Fizzy Floaten and Cream Sodas. A very popular place with a long line when I stopped on Thursday night. I chose a three bowl with mango, lava stream and mountain Blueberry Gelato. Waiting was worth it as all three flavors were great tasting and not really sweet. Sea Star offers a rotating menu of flavors and milk free options. On North Columbia near Broadway in Seaside. Parking is on the street, but only a few minutes' walk from many hotels. A beautiful place for a variety of treats with a wide selection of gelatos, and sorbets to stop with friendly service."

"Skip the Pig n Pancake and come here instead. I read online someone said this was the best breakfast sandwich they'd ever had and wanted to see for myself. Well, it totally lived up to my expectations. Fresh scratch made biscuit, delicious sauce, crispy flavorful bacon, perfectly cooked egg and yummy melted cheddar. Soooo amazing. I wish I could have another one, it was the perfect breakfast sandwich but I'm all the way in WA. If I ever go to Seaside again I'll be stopping here. I do wish I could have tried the cheddar biscuit but they were out, regardless the regular biscuit was fabulous."

"Every time I've ever pulled to the drive disc in Kick Ass, every employee there was always very friendly and attentive! They have always found a way to put a smile on my face also on the rainy day, they remind me that good customer service still exists and customers make matter! It also does not hurt that they have absolutely hands down the best milkshakes in the city! Your customers appreciate you very much, keep the great work! Thank you."

We live here , we love Astoria and it has been awe inspiring to see the magnificent changes happening over the past 15 years. "Well this was an interesting place to dine in. The wait staff were great and the atmosphere was a bit to fancy for what it was. The food was great and the desert was delicious. Although the prices were a bit high for what was presented. I think it was okay. The Mac and cheese seems like you could have a bit more flavor and a bit more crab. The clam chowder was nice and cooked great but I wish it had a bit more clams than bacon. The Marionberry sweet cream was definitely a presented greatly and tasted amazing, it had a lot of berry flavor to it and was nice and delicious."

"We were here for dinner. The menu had several vegan options. Had the tempeh taco which was delicious. We were told that they make it a point to have vegan options for all meals. "Ordered through their website for pickup- they ran out of chicken strips but said they were busy and forgot to contact us. The food was ready 10-15 minutes late. They also said they aren't able to do refunds themselves, that we had to go through the online platform to get a refund for the chicken strips they didn't give us- but the emails and website show no option at all for a refund. I emailed them asking how to get the refund processed, and they have not responded. The clam chowder had giant chunks of potato and very little clam. The fish and chips had small, greasy pieces. We paid for an extra tartar sauce and didn't receive it. Overall disappointed in our first time trying this place."
