What Vick C doesn't like about Pete's Steak House:
It had a nice atmosphere. The wait staff was ok, but they forgot to bring out 2 salads and silverware. We ordered wings and jalapeno poppers as appetizers. The poppers were good, but the wings not so much. I ordered a ribeye steak with a baked potato. It was cooked well, but it was a Denny's quality steak. My wife ordered the gyro platter. Excellent food for 4 of us. Lasagna for three. Gyro plated for one. Brilliant server called Jody. Heavy, patient and thorough. Much delicious salad bar. Huge portions. Go to Atchison! A jaunt from St. Joseph.
Great place to eat! Always good service. Know the owners for years great menu options for all including some delicious Greek dishes! Always stop when we are in town and are never disappointed. We'll go back if we can.

We live half an hour west of Atchison and this was our first time at Pete's. It was great! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. Oh and the food... the food was very good. This is going to us from now on. So many other things on the menu we want to try.
Had the best pizza cold beer and enjoyed watching the royals. Love this place!! Best pizza hands down!!!!
