"Was driving through Athens and of Course needed a little dinner before moving on. I googled what was near Me and this sounded good, rather than a drive through. And this little place did not disappoint. The service was friendly, the food wasdelicious and the portions were large (we boxed our leftovers and had a midnight snack!!"

"My wife and I make the drive from Atlanta every year for our anniversary dinner. The food, service and ambiance is always great, but this year was the best meal ever!! The apps (pimento cheese french onion) dip were great. We shared the strozzapreti and it was terrific. The grilled cobia didn't disappoint, but the chuck roast (yes, chuck roast) was one of the best entrees I've had in years. Finished the night with the chocolate cremeux. If you like chocolate, you shouldn't miss this dessert. If you don't like chocolate, you should order it anyway. It was amazing! Great night as always. See you again in one year (unless I can sneak in another visit)."

"Went on a Monday night to Shokitini. Be prepared to pay to park unless it’s a Sunday. There were a handful of other tables occupied when we got there, but we never had to wait long for service. Appetizers came quickly and so did the main meal and dessert. We decided to sit at the sushi bar per recommendation from a friend. We were given a complimentary salad and fried mushroom puff with tuna appetizer. We ordered a sushi dinner for 2 for $49.95. We put in the special request box that we love eel, but are open to trying new things. The meal came with an additional ginger salad and miso soup. It was such a neat experience to sit in front of where the sushi chef was making our dinner. He checked in on us while we were eating, and we got to rave to him about how delicious everything was. We ended up with a lovely assortment. Favorites were the bbq eel, conch, albacore, salmon, and yellowtail. Tuna and red snapper were alright. All of the fish tasted fresh, clean, and lovely. The conch had a nice firm texture and the bbq eel is just simply delicious. Hubby especially loved the shrimp tempura roll and double punch roll. Dinner ended with complimentary fried Oreos. I highly recommend coming and sitting at the sushi bar. Fabulous food and fantastic service. Absolutely delightful time."

"Automatically our go-to is if we want pizza in athens. the pizza is thin-crust and has a beautiful crack. there are vegan cheeses, I'm not sure what brand though. we love to get mushrooms, artichokes and pineapples on us! I'll say I took a bite once and found that I had a piece of meat on the pizza. Although I was very disturbed, I understand mistakes. also, I find that if we get a big pizza instead of a medium, it is more burned/charred on the floor."

"Absolutely blown away Sandwiches were absolutely amazing Salad bar was to die for, first one I had since the pandemic shut everything down. Tons of goodies all fresh and stocked Plus they unlimited fountain soda, iced tea, ice cream,and anythingthe heart desires Is very nice clean restaurant and the staff beyond courteous and attentive I wish they had more of these upnorth I would definitely frequent more often. Can't wait to come back to Athens and visit Jason's again"

"The food is decent....kinda. Chips and salsa are okay. All 6 people at my table had lots of food they didn't eat. This either speaks to the portions being too large or the food not being as good as it may seem. The lines are slow to move and the setup makes me scratch my head. This must cut down drastically on the cost of employees as there are no servers. You order at two registers and then someone will search out your number and deliver the food. It's a little hectic to say the least. A can of coke will cost you $1.50 and even with the current inflation they are gonna squeeze a little more out of your wallet. I wouldn't recommend you wasting your time here so don't blame me if your experience leaves you wanting or disappointed. Also be prepared to have red cabbage thrown all over your food. It all just seems like a waste and weird attempt to class up the food esthetic."
