Today we had the privilege to visit the local restaurant ro’s grille. it was a great experience for the whole family. from our server, lane, who was great to eat, that was delicious, generous, and cooked to perfection we loved it all. it was a very pleasant local atmosphere and the prices were especially great for the portions. What B King doesn't like about Ro's Grille:
Call to place a take out order at 5:30ish . The girl says we stopped doing take out orders.And hangs up on me before I could even ask for an explanation!!???? Well you lost our business. Why answer the phone??? Blows my mind. And people wonder why small businesses have a hard time making it. My go to spot in Athens for southern comfort food! The loaded cheese fries are always amazing and you can't go wrong with the steak tips or fish n chips. Honestly, I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always attentive and friendly and all the food is delicious. You will not be disappointed. Great family spot!
The atmosphere is just a few steps from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Service is friendly and exceptional. The food was fashionable plated, well prepared and bursting with taste. The abnormal large glasses were a welcome addition.
We always loved Roes Grille, but today I decided to try something new. The 3 small Pigs Tacos are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them!
We start with our waiter Lane. He was very attentive and very sweet, although it was a packed house. He ran all the time with a smile. The food was not disappointed. It came hot, fresh and faster than expected because it was so busy. Try the loaded puppies (hush puppies). I can't say enough. Everyone was great. Great experience and will definitely come back.
They picked up on first call, hostess was sweet and double checked everything with me when I went to pickup! brownie and ice cream was SUPER good, Caribbean chicken very yummy, Burger was decent, steak was cooked perfect. No butter on loaded baked potatoes ? French fries yummy and everything was hot. wanted something of quality and local on a road trip and this satisfied everyone! Great job guys.
