"My man and I were in the holiday inn express and decided to treat us to a pad thai we ordered the spicy thai garnelen (I) and huhn (him.) it was deeelicious and I had three meal times from him when it was such a generous portion size and the spring rolls were the crispy I've ever had. we will always treat each other!"

"We were there last eve (Saturday) and the food was really delicious: simple, fresh , tasty and lots of vegetables. We took the combo for two which included a vegetable spring roll each, a soup (coconut based-TomKha), two chicken dishes (one very spicy-yellow curry chicken and the other mild-chicken cashewnut) and rice for each and we had lots of it. The service was perfect (we had a young woman and young man) and they were personable and gave us very good service. Not many people in for a Saturday when we first arrived but it was full by the time we left. The restaurant decor is fairly new and it is clean, as are the washrooms. We will return for certain once we go back to Brockville."

"First off, our barman/server/waiter was a gem. Affable, friendly, attentive, and it was just him serving everyone in the place. It wasn't too packed for a Sunday night, a couple of other families eating and some couples at the bar, but he (despite being the only front of the house staff) stopped to chat with everyone and was gracious and attentive. Service was top notch. Unfortunately, the kitchen couldn't live up to the staffing experience. Kids meals were free with and adult entree, and despite the massive size of the burger and overall quantity of food for our little one, beef was quite dry. Someone really wanted to make sure that it was cooked - and they succeeded! The shrimp scampi was average flavour, but quite gummy. The special - a steak on cheese garlic bread, topped with brushetta over promised, but under delivered. Steak was well done, not medium. Brushetta was barely seasoned. Garlic cheese bread and salad with balsamic was likely the save to balance out the blander elements. Best part of the menu? Dessert - rhubarb pie was flaky and warm, not too sweet or sour, and great a la mode.The drink selections are good, the service is great, but the food itself could unfortunately use some tweaks."
