"This popular coffee shop is on the corner of the busy main road in Atherton. As such it attracts a lot of customers for its yummy cakes and pastries, including devonshire tea and slices of various kinds. as much as its art, displayed all around the walls. Curiously there are also books available for purchase but they all seemed second hand so it is very much a community hub. The service can be a little slow at times given the traffic and indoor and outdoor dining is on offer, but it offered sanctuary from busy mornings in town or on the road! We greatly enjoyed our sojourn there!"

"Nice local cafe with surprisingly reasonable prices and good food. The Whistle Stop Cafe has a nice garden setting with a bit of character creating a pleasent dining atmosphere. Furniture needs some attention but overall a great little spot to stop. Will visit again."

"First time visiting Malanda Bakery and was very satisfied. Greeted and welcomed with a smile. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Customer service was great. Variety of options. We bought 2 pies, a roll, along with a couple of cakes/tarts for only $25. Served by 2 gentlemen that were very kind. Thanks guys!"
