"Seemed not much open in Atherton today, decided to go to this pub. Staff so friendly and helpful. We were staying at Palm Cove, the contrast was amazing. I had reef and beef and wife had the wild barramundi. My meal was large and fantastic but my wife scored better. It is so long since I have seem real barramundi and prepared so well. Great wines stocked, Only downside was near the end of holiday so could not return."

"This was my regular, fave coffee haunt. We used to travel from Cairns to enjoy the lovely coffee and cakes every week. We used to take our visitors also, not any more ...This last visit was very disappointing. We like to enjoy a nice coffee and chat. This time horrid music was irritatingly loud. Another lady complained that the music was too loud and she too came to enjoy a chat. The music bothered her and she asked if it could be turned down.I asked 4 times if the music could be turned down, 3 staff members left the long queue of customers to come and turn the music up. I don't know why it is a problem to just turn the music down.When two of your customers are complaining and you do not listen, you lose them.We won't be back!"
