Diving. Still a smoker, but if Grub is what you are looking for, find it. Burger and Nachos for me, but everything from a cutlet on a bun to blue bell, that is Diner's food old school. The second best burger in the city behind Dixie Maid, but a very close second. View all feedback.

"We were passing through Atlanta, TX at 7:30pm on a Friday night, about an hour away from our home. We don't pass through this area often, and sadly, we no longer have a Catfish King in or around Longview, TX. Despite the fact that they were closing in 30 minutes, we decided to stop anyway. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife and I both ordered the 7-piece fried catfish plates with 2 sides (we chose fries and coleslaw), which cost $16 each. We also got an order of delicious onion rings. The portions were generous and the fish was cooked perfectly in a cornmeal batter. It was simple and delicious. The restaurant has a rustic log cabin look, which was their style 40 years ago. The interior and exterior were clean, including the restrooms. Although some may find the appearance outdated, it's actually part of the restaurant's design. They do not have a salad bar or buffet like other Catfish King locations, but they do offer free beans and excellent hush puppies. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back."
