Contribute FeedbackRay's on the River has been a longstanding favorite for many, but recent experiences have left some customers disappointed. Issues such as food timing, temperature, and substitutions have been raised, leaving patrons wishing for a better dining experience. However, the restaurant still holds its charm for many, with beautiful views, attentive staff, and delicious dishes like Oyster Rockefeller and buttercake. While there may be some mixed reviews, Ray's on the River continues to be a popular spot for special occasions and romantic evenings by the river.
I love this place elegant and festive with excellent food and drinks and best in class service.
I highly recommend it! everything was absolutely extraordinary.
We went to rays last night to celebrate the rest of our parents. the whole experience was simply amazing! aaron and racheal were amazing as our server! they were warm and professional, but also attentive. the filled breanzino and they crawled soup were our favorite, and our server recommended the buttercake not disappointed! from beginning to end it was a wonderful evening.
We have often gone to rays on the river and loved him, but this time were disappointed. first my wife asked if she could replace green beans for asparagus with her meal, but you said she could only do it if she ordered a separate order. then our appetizer and salads came out exactly at the same time. not 2 minutes later, while we tried to eat our salads and appetizers, they brought out our escapes. we had to send them back. one because later, before we were finished with our salates and appetizers, they tried to bring our deer back out, and we had to send them back. when we were finished and got our escapes, they were a bit affected by sitting under a heat lamp. we spent $200 for dinner and expected better from ray’s. in fairness, our waitress apologised and offered us a free dessert (we rejected the dessert, but accepted the apologies.) but nothing should have happened.
Wonderful!! My go to restaurant when I travel to Atlanta!
