I never write reviews (literally this is my first one) and Sandy Shoes was so amazing I had to share my experience. Overall, great service and they went above and beyond to accommodate our group! For example, on an over 100 degree day, they personally put an air conditioning unit in front of our table to help cool us off. Not to mention, it’s in a perfect location on the board walk! What N doesn't like about The Beach House Kitchen:
So shady and terrible. They charge you gratuity without informing you, they do it after running your card. Very slow service, waitress didn’t give bartender our drink order until 15 min later. We know, bc we were sitting right next to bar waiting and watching. Drinks came after food arrived. Out of bacon. Food was ok not great. Great service, good food! we were greeted by Michael, a charming young man who was so outgoing and fun to have for a server. He recommended the pulled pork nachos which were awesome and the chicken tacos which were so flavorful. I loved that we could sit outside and they had drink specials. Would recommend and go again.
The service is really great. They made strawberry smoothies for the kids in our group and went out of their way to bring extra straws and cups. Very friendly, wish we had the chance to have a full meal. Can’t beat the location with tables and chairs to relax and eat right on the boardwalk. Will come for lunch or dinner next time we are in AC!
This is such a great boardwalk restaurant. It's nice to get a real meal at a place unattached to a casino. It has specious and comfortable outdoor seating. The service was friendly. We had tuna poke, jersey tomato salad and mussels white. All of the dishes were delicious and tasted fresh! I particularly loved the poke. My mom's glass of wine was lovely, and fairly priced with a generous pour. The prices were totally reasonable for a beach front/right on the boardwalk location, and the portions were perfect. I will definitely come back.

Honestly a pretty terrible dining experience... place was relatively empty too except for some ppl sitting outdoors. Ordered a water with my drink and waitress never brought it over, didn’t bother asking or bringing water lol.
I would not recommend. We waited by the bar for 10 minutes to order a drink. There are no customers at all. Yet the bartender just kept looking at us from 25 ft away and didn't even acknowledge that we were waiting to order a drink. Ended up walking out.
