"After reading the other reviews, we wanted to try it. Amazing. Not very fancy from the outside. Inside 12 or 13 tables with white table clothes and flowers. Very clean and charming. But the food. OMG really the food is delicious. The service is very quick and personable. Hot garlic bread comes right to your table and you can hardly wait since the restaurant has a wonderful garlic smell. We had the best fried squid ever. Light and served with a delicious warm fresh tomato compote. Then Gorgonzola bruchetta. The house salad with fresh strawberries and nuts was wonderful. It is served with a dressing on the side that we both thought was too sweet. But olive oil and red wine vinegar were on the table and was perfect. Next a penne Puttanesca (capers, tomatoe, anchovies) that was perfect. Even though we didn't need it, we followed it with a Tiramisu and coffee. We shared one order of everything and it was more than enough. Our bill with 2 beers was $300 pesos. Also on the menu was rabbit, fish, pizza, 4 mushroom or asparagus risotta. I have to keep returning often, but it is a long way for lunch. At this time they are open Tues Sunday (closed Monday) from 1 to 8. We stopped about 2 on Sunday and it was half full. An hour later is was completely full. We were so full we could hardly manage a taste of the salami at the little shop across from the church. The shop is great. We didn't like the aged cheese so much, but really liked the cheese mixed with Jamon Serrano. The people at the shop are very pleasant and open to answering all sorts of questions."
