I and woman had barb queen sandwiches there. we are from virginia and I said owners there that an excellent sandwich to beat our in virginia. no sweat! it tasted like at home. excellent taste. we're back in town. What User doesn't like about The Southern Barbeque Co.:
3 months ago we had said we weren’t going back to Attalla location but we decided to give them another chance. What a disappointment. If you want to actually have meat with your meal, this isn’t the place to go. It was basically bread and a potato that needed all the other toppings because there wasn’t enough meat. It has really changed from when we first started going there and it was our favorite. Now we’re making the drive to The Shack BBQ in Talladega because we spend the same amount and get a TON more. Maybe that’s why Southern BBQ parking lot was empty and The Shack was packed.
